Please remember that even though you have an upgraded HVAC system that’s a Heat Pump, it can only heat efficiently down to 32 degrees outside. When the temperatures drop below 32 degrees F, you’ll need to activate your emergency heat. If you have a whole house mini split, then you’re okay until it drops below -22 degrees F.
